Amenities

Makrygialos has a number of small supermarket type shops – there is one within 50 metres of Grapevines which sells bread, milk + all your basic amenities.  If you want a larger supermarket there is one in Koutsouras or there are the big supermarkets in Ierapetra.  As you enter Ierapetra from the airport road, turn right at the lights and you will see Lidl on the left within a few hundred metres.

There is an excellent butchers shop/frozen food store in the centre of Makrygialos, next door to a small fruit and vegetable shop – really cheap but excellent quality.
